The Pride of the Dove 2

Underneath the milky raincloud
sitting on the roof _ seeing the world
humming my song _ with a beautiful sound
filled with real melody _ made with no word

as It ascends beneath _ from the heart
with an eternal pleasure
to the soul _ and makes a sweet part
to the cruise of harmony _ to endure

the secrets, I know _ I conceal
so I can flutter up in the skies free
and be proud _ only me can reveal,
for am a king _ until your nature is free.

Little, White Dove

Staring at the skies above,
Flying over-head, a little, white dove.
Open your mouth and close your eyes,
You'll be in for a little surprise.

Are You Mourning, Dove?

Smiling in the street while it thunders,

today is the day I let my mind go,

I turn my cap inside out,

climb up the trees to look below.

Fill my pants with leaves and bark,

my heart fills up with love,

on my arms some feathers grow,

and become a mourning dove,

To coo in ways both sad and glad,

the crowd of people are irrate,

the flashing lights irrelevant,

I must fly and find a mate.

Us mourning doves get lonely,

so I crash into the ground,

bird school taught not how to flap,

now hear the mourning sound.
