Plato and Socrates

Dramatic prose for the pompous asses
I throw my Platos at you
If you come any closer
I will Socrates you right in the nose
Demands, demands!!!! The clowns now have demands?
I say, rise up oh poets of the infinite dot universe
Proclaim the revolution a new
Justify our fight with words wrapped in doo doo
When I see a condescending donkey trip on his verbatim
I laughs cause I know he will fall into Satan's den
I am at eleven, usually a sober man
I carry my saber high and shout "Ekphrasis I don’t give a bloody damn"
Infinite ............................ Universe

To Tame a Shrew

TO TAME A SHREW

Tunke Tunke Tunke
I dragged her along and into the trunk
Clunk clunk clunk,
I hear some screaming from the Tunke

I drove away, in my brand new Lex
Avoiding both grammar and spelling checks
Safely away, I saved the day
Off I am to the road by the bay

Tunke Tunke Tunke
Her crass verse I too stuffed in the trunk
Drunk drunk drunk
How else does one explain a skunk in the trunk?

So by the bay, I opened me trunk
Someone is gonna be going for a dunk
I unloaded the cargo chapter and verse
At the bottom of the lake let’s see her converse

No Wedding Vows For Him

There once was a rooster with style.
He crowed for the hens a long while.
He was a cool dude.
And many were wooed.
Somehow, he avoided the aisle.

Christmas Song Poem

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Frosty the snowman
Grandma got runover by a reindeer
Jingle bells
Silent night...

The most wonderful time of the year
Walking in a winter wonderland
Rudolph the rednose reindeer
Up on the house top...
Rockin' around the Christmas tree!

Hark the herald angels sing
Joy to the world
It came upon a midnight clear
Angels we have heard on high
Away in a Manger

He is still the Christ of Christmas!!
Still Emanuel
Go tell it on a mountain!!

Grecian 16

Owed to a Grecian Formula,
Though secretive and unbetrayed,
Scarce noticed, by gradations wane:
Auld sylvan strands, fine argent grey.

Rich chestnut hues, slow, unannounced,
Emerge discreet midst ashen roots,
As grizzled mantle transforms brown,
Like autumn leaves or wooded shoots.

And though ’tis pittance sacrificed
To dab small bits at break of day,
Alas, amended means, I yearn:
An aerosol, fine misting spray.

’Tis sweet to subtle reclaim youth,
To push back time, to mount attack.
A caution raised to those who dare:
Embrace thy choosing, glimpse not back.

The Sphinx

In the hot sands do you stand
Crouched on all four
Waiting to devour the wanderer
In search of Truth
The babes of the Jews escaped your fists
So you stand there with your nose in bits
