Jay

I'm big and bold and mostly blue
I can be heard from a mile or two.
I'll screech and yell and tell the tale
If you leave peanuts on the rail.

Blue Jay

Ok
Ok
Ok
Blue Jay
With your blue “wheedlewee” and “tooltool”,
Blueberry in beak
Blue sky in full peak
Tweet your blue wheedlewee and tooltool

Talk Your Way Out of This, Jay

I had a good friend named Jay Walker
He fancied himself a smooth talker
  He was extra discreet
  When he ventured mid-street
Too bad that mean cop was his stalker

Jay was kicking and screaming so loud
That he drew a sympathetic crowd
"I know what my rights are
  When they're tightly-packed cars
Crossing anywhere must be allowed."

A Bird Named Jay

Red lights flashed a bird named Jay
who laughed at the crosswalk and had to pay

Let that be a lesson to all you big talkers
~ lest you end up broke, like poor Jaywalker

The Blue Jay

I'm the coolest blue jay
Singing a beautiful song
out loud, I can also
Mimic other birds
I love to eat so,
I'll grab a few
Caterpillars and beetles
They taste so good that
I swallow them whole
In the fall, I eat
Nuts, seeds and acorns
I also store some in trees
Then forget which tree
I put them in
I'm also a lover
I'll woo the one I want
Feeding and taking good
Care of her
If she chooses me
We'll be together forever
