Kenn Nesbitt

Introducing Kenn Nesbitt, my choice for funny poet
Producing giggle poetry kids appreciate
Inducing guffaws that infect others with laughter
Sluicing silly nonsense on subjects kids can relate

Exciting themes on homework and animals Kenn writes.
Inciting worldwide laughs, in all this absurdity
Highlighting the imagination of any child
Inviting you to share this world of frivolity

I Need To Sit

Men on the whole are wonderful BUT When they omit to put the loo seat down Again and again I find that it’s up Then I end up with a massive frown! My need is to sit when I use the loo - Comply with my wishes that’s all I ask Deny it was you – it drives me so mad Why can’t men complete an easy task! If Our Cars Could Talk

If our cars could talk what might they say?
"Oh boy, it's you for one more day".
"I see that you don't care a lot, you
keep on driving when my engine is hot!"
"Unless you plan to walk real soon, stop
running me on mere gas fumes."
"Please use my signals and don't drive spastic.
This body of mine is mostly plastic".
"I'm not a Mercedes. I'm far from bionic.
Replenish these fluids. They are my tonic."
"Before I pound on one more street, replace these tires,
their truly beat."
"One habit of yours truly grains, stop smearing my
windshield with nicotine stains".
"Keep both eyes on the road and listen out for the weather
and we may have some pleasurable times together."

The Tenth Percentile

Green scissors that never cut a thing,
seen always as outside of the box;
Gene gave me this vivacious vision
keen to lean towards unorthodox;

Wrong side of the road is where I live,
along with others who share my smile;
Headstrong creatives we’re colorful;
Lifelong punch of the tenth percentile.

Chorus Of Chortle

Biting through strings on girlish giggles
harrowing the echo of church bells;
Overpowering with sweetness
rolling in good times that tune foretells,

Magick you always want to join in,
tragic to know it’s a small circle;
Fabric that has been stitched together,
dramatic their chorus of chortle.

Wordplay

Misspelt poems mangle the message,
dealt a blow by a careless edit;
Svelte pen but could not match the approach,
felt you were done but did not see it;

When you’re lucky you get the wordplay,
jasmine doesn’t flow like the jazz men;
Again that’s just not how it works out;
Been there, mind spellcheck pay attention.
