Vacancy To Fill One Lonely Heart - For Contest
My Ex Husband:-
Lied to me
Was often drunk and violent
Belittled me
Spent all my money
Ran off with my best friend ...
HE’S FIRED!
Position is now vacant
the new applicant needs to be:-
Honest
Teetotal and gentle as a lamb
Stand by me through thick and thin and not put me down
Solvent enough to buy me the odd bunch of flowers or an orchid
Loyal – (the only real friends I have left are male!)
If you think you can fill this position ...
YOU’RE HIRED!
Contest: The Interview – Judy Konos

A Penny For Your Thoughts
I searched for a Penny
So I could hear her thoughts
Sadly there weren't any
My heart was left in knots
Perhaps a wooden Nickle
Or maybe a thin dime
Would help me in a pickle
So this girl could be mine
I was determined to pass Buck
For he seemed to have her ear
He possessed that Irish luck
So I cried in my green beer
This girl I wanted to hold
Was enamored with his gold
"Penny for your thoughts"
"Don't accept any wooden Nickles."
"All he had was one thin dime"
"The Buck stops here"
"Luck of the Irish"
"The one who has the Gold gets the girl!"

Once a Lonely Grand-Dad in a Log-Jam
Paid an urgent visit to a Grande-Dame*
She lifted the stuck log
During Pea-Souper smog
Damn ! Got carried down Grand-Dad Rapids – Wham !

Lonely Soul
Where is the one i suppose to be with
No,i don't find anyone next yo me
Why,i feel so lonely
Because you are not here
Love...is that name still exist
I don't think so,but so some they it's still exist,
I was looking for it
Since i was young,i've got plenty of people
In my life but still my soul,
My soul tells me that it's lonely,
Can i buy love? What am i suppose to do?
Nothing ,i rather be lonely,
What can plenty people have to with my
Life,my lonely soul stay focus

Do Do
Many things you don't do
You wonder if you should
Many things you do do
You'd undo if you could
Think of what you don't do
And would you, if you could
Careful what you do do
On you, it might look good
Think of what you would do
In someone else's place
Remember what you do do
Redeem it just in case

Lonely Love
There was a boy named Chew Too Who.
He fell in love with a girl named Sue.
He gave her a flower,
But it was too sour.
She fell in love with someone new.

chocolate hearts and candies in boxes
play their part in having me nauseous
passion a project for the masses
roses in package, romance the passage
red, white and pink, fed right in the link
bed time in sync, just what you think
that one day out of three sixty five
your partner should get recognized
consumption used to fortify
love thatll last the rest of our lives
trickier than lovers that are porcupines
a sort of lie, could put a hole in your heart
bigger than a quarters size
beyond the balloons, heart strings in the loom
the only thoughts i consume,
is i need a sun with my moon

Reading and Knitting
From childhood adore with love
Penny save to run to bookstore
Reading and knitting all day
Eyes and hands in drop of hill
In hugging the sea breeze
Inviting underneath no need to breath
Deep dive to sea as host
When came beneath in dream
In wet hands hosting pearl of shells
Breeze of the sea escaped white curtains
A new day to wash with sea and sun
Run to bookstore than get a new canvas

Horny Toad On a Lonely Road
She came across a bend
On a lonely road.
She walked upon some little rocks
And found a horny toad.
She cried as her heart then broke
cause that little toad there died.
She couldn't understand,
confused she stood and sighed.
That little horny toad
never moved or moaned at all.
As she stood there and stared,
not believing in that there she saw.
She wondered why she stumbled
on that little horny toad.
Where that toad there then died,
here upon a lonely road.

A Bottle Half Full
A lonely lady who was despairing
Was in need of some urgent repairing
So since she was alone
Plus no man on the phone
A bottle of wine made a good pairing

humor, i miss you, lonely,
Without You
Without you I’m an incomplete circle
A divided square, rectangular, unequal
Loosing shape, my fall has no impact
Burning out in the atmosphere like a comet
Undead, I’m brittle in the sun
Palling without my medicine
A buffoon without my Whitherspoon
Scared of the moon, a cartoon
I walk unevenly, off balance
A laughing stock without any defence
An empty wine glass on display
A smoking cigar without an ashtray
Bitter all my life like vinegar
A creature of bad habits, a voyageur
Trivial to the best of my knowledge
A block of ice in an empty fridge

Five feet eight,
eyes brown,
this man is
looking, for
adventure,out
of town.
Blonde,
red hair,
or brunette,
have I described,
you yet.
A sense of humor,
is a must,
You can be adventures too,
ready to drop, every thing.
at the drop of a hat,
have I wet, your appetite yet.
If you ,are interested in me,
then send a photo, and I
will see.
May be we were ,
meant to be
get in touch and ;
meet me.

Lonely Heart Column
Is it too late to go on dates
with ladies, fat or thin?
An ad I place to find embrace;
replies come flooding in
The first is brash and has a 'tache;
the second, very gruff;
the third decrees she'd like to see
me standing in the buff.
I pay for drinks and then methinks
I'll never find the one:
it's cost me pounds and all I've found:
it's boring, 'stead of fun.
This dating game is pretty lame;
I want an easy life.
a sorry pup, I now give up...
I'll stay here with my wife!

A Doubt of Loneliness
Wonders of lonely
Wonders of me
The lonely is killing,
It is sure killing me!
Since when have i become this lonely?
Since when have i did?
No, that's right!
I have never been lonely indeed!
What was i thinking about?
It is not the loneliness, it's boredom,
That is killing me!
