The Fisherman and the Mermaid
THE FISHERMAN AND THE MERMAID
A young fisherman berthed in Penzance
Went ashore one fine night to a dance
He woke up on his boat
With a mermaid afloat
The First prize in a card game of chance
So was spawned a cross genus romance
Though the neighbors regarded askance
They got married next day
In a church by the bay
And went off to a fish farm in France

The Mermaid
A mermaid who was German
Made out with her boyfriend Herman
When they got past kissing
She found something missing
No wonder : he was a merman

Slade and Jade the Mermaid
There once was a pirate named Slade,
had a crush on Jade the mermaid.
Asked her out on a date,
thought this love was his fate...
turned out she was there to get laid!

The Sailors' Mermaid
The Sailors' Mermaid
There once was a manatee named Mary.
She, a mammal was not very hairy.
One day while at sea.
She said this shouldn't be!
So, she bought a blond wig from Sea-Fairy.

Flounder From the Little Mermaid
I am Flounder, wild and young.
I flap my fins and love to have fun.
And sometimes when I eat bad algae,
I make the water a little bit bubbly!

A Mermaid Tale
There once was a mermaid named Lea
Claimed delusional sailors at sea
So a captain set sail
Hopeful the tale to dispel
But returned with kelp on his knee
Once t'was a captain with kelp on his knee
Decided to pay sailors a fee
The ship they all dubbed
And the decks were scrubbed
As he sought the mermaid named Lea
Once was a sailor with story to tell
If he drank tankards of ale for a spell
His captain gone daft
Cast off on a raft
And there was Lea in the swell

Manatee Or Mermaid
Goodbye .....
she whispered from afar
The wind took words away
and scattered them
along the beach
where lovers used to play
I chased the syllables and nouns
I gathered up the thoughts
but currents in the water found
the letters I had caught
I still can't understand or hear
the bubbles that she blew,
landing lightly on the waves
a surface love so new.
I sank beneath the waters
a deeper love to find,
the heavy words like loyalty
and truth were on my line,
but I found only adverbs
Of when and why and how
I left my love note at the shore ,
who needs an old sea cow?

Mermaid From the Sea
Up from the depths of the sea,
came a mermaid who needed to pee.
She had bright green hair
and was as fat as a bear,
but alas, was allergic to bees.

The Mortified Mermaid
Sweet Lorelei was in distress -
an angler’s rod ripped off her dress,
perched high on her rock,
she was sans her frock,
her nakedness she must redress!
She clambered down onto the beach,
to gather seaweed in arm's reach,
then formed a bikini,
(which was rather teeny,)
now sailors declare her a peach!

Mermaid
I’ve fallen in love with a mermaid
We were splashing about in the water
The aroma was gross
But we got pretty close
And now we’re expecting a daughter

A Mermaid
There once was a girl who was a maid
Her wish her beauty shall never fade.
She feared to climb the tree
And refused to swim in sea.
At night she saw herself a mermaid.
