I Miss You
I miss you,
like the sky misses the stars.
like the streets when there are no cars.
like a government that has no laws,
like music, when it is on pause.
I miss you,
like the desert misses the rain
like an addict without cocaine,
like a kiss that misses lips
like actors without their scripts.

To the Poet Who Broke My Heart Dw
We were ‘married’ on poetry soup
I kept my hubby right in the loop
I still rue the day
That you went away
I need to dry my tears and regroup
Loved your humour right from the start
I miss you with all of my heart
Want you to come back
Get you in the sack*
Then they’ll never tear us apart!
* In case you are wondering … Darren and I are simply amazing friends and this is a cheeky line from one of the last mails he sent me in October.
I miss you my lovely friend

Love Like a Rose
Love is like a rose
Like the fibonacci frequency
Perfect geometry in all its curved lines
Love is like a rose
Like the shape of the heart
Filled with satisfaction and passion and love
Love is like the sweet smell of the rose
Like a romance that said what is the good smell
When your car needs to be cleaned

Do You Fancy a Lay
Jan and Daz were out strolling one day
Daz turned and asked did I fancy a lay
I blushed like a schoolgirl and said Daz don’t be so rude! …
But I’m feeling quite peckish, I fancy some food
Daz started to fumble and to my surprise
He pulled out a whopper I gulped at the size
Get your teeth into this Jan was all Daz did say
For there in his hands was a huge bag of Lay’s!
I wrote this back in April. My dearest wish is that one day Darren will be back to add another verse
Lay's in not a product we have in the UK

It's Not Funny
My Parting Gift.
It’s not Funny
Never leave Life’s bus behind.
It’s full of much that rhymes.
Count only on the adventure.
Even if the need for dentures.
Don’t count on the money honey.
From me it's not funny or coming.

Poets love defines as does your photography
Screening feme fatal like it's a mammography
Blissful images erected
Virility unaffected
Observing what nature offers in demography

Hardest Days
Hardest days that I came over
Are no more here to break me silver
I was blind for some useless reason
And It couldn't yet found for what the motion
I took you beyond,Over the vision
And now I'm here, without the notion
Burning sun found some water
Water just gone, regreting slaughter
Poeple said "It happens for a reason"
But now I swear, It happend for caution
No one is perfect, even my girl
She just threw me down like a hazelnut whirl

Miss You Wife
I've just found the love of my life,
I'm taking up golf
And getting rid of the wife.
My troubles have just started
I don't know what to do,
I can't work the dishwasher,
Or the microwave too.
I've got piles of dirty washing
All over the place,
My kitchen and bathroom
Are a total disgrace.
But I look on the bright side,
(I say this with a frown)
My house might be in a mess,
But my handicap is coming down.

Go Back To Sleep
Go back to sleep, sweetheart.
Get rest, roll over, close your eyes and
Be still, my love.
Your tossing and turning
Your restless night wanderings
They disturb my dreams.
Don't forget we share this same bed
Though thousands of miles apart.

Confusing Love
You never said anything to me
but u always seem distracted
When I’m around
Yet u said I’m nothing to you
You never seem to be happy
But u always have a ackward simile
When I’m around
Yet u said I’m nothing to you
You never seem pleasant
But u always ask me to heng out
When u see me
Yet u said I’m nothing to you
You always seem busy
But u always have time for me
When I see you
Yet you said I’m nothing to you

Without You
Without you I’m an incomplete circle
A divided square, rectangular, unequal
Loosing shape, my fall has no impact
Burning out in the atmosphere like a comet
Undead, I’m brittle in the sun
Palling without my medicine
A buffoon without my Whitherspoon
Scared of the moon, a cartoon
I walk unevenly, off balance
A laughing stock without any defence
An empty wine glass on display
A smoking cigar without an ashtray
Bitter all my life like vinegar
A creature of bad habits, a voyageur
Trivial to the best of my knowledge
A block of ice in an empty fridge

For Me
I hear the rain drops falling non stop but this time it didn't mask over my thoughts.
Rather broke all I had blocked,
I knew I had to get over such thoughts.
The thoughts about you.
The way your lips touched my skin, and how you pulled all within.
I want someone who is long gone, it was time that I moved on.
See, your name is stamped across my chest... No worries I'll ripe a whole new skin.
It's not your fault but I have to do this for myself.

The Dream
How strange it would be ever if
You wakened in your bed
You dreamed you had an accident
And that you were not dead
You crashed into a mighty tree
And only scarred your knee
Ejected from the seat, you were
And bounded, one, two, three

Jimmy's Dead
Young Jimmy asked if he was dead.
I laughed before I answered.
And then I told him that he was
and Jimmy's faith was fractured.
I called him a philosopher.
Too dumb to even ask.
and left him all alone,
just sulking in a bask.
The next time Jimmy came my way
I knew he needed help
and covered up my laughs that day
despite the urge to yelp.
Now every time I saw poor Jimmy
I always stopped and said:
Goodbye dear Jimmy; never Hi,
for now poor Jimmy's dead.

Uncle John's Music
Daddy's piano plays my sadness
The funeral of a feeling
with a funny uncle at the mass
The windows feel the breeze
it's 6 pm in the afternoon, in Lisbon
The sun hides in a purple dusky sky
We feel formal but weak
We feel the missing of a heart

Dedication to Jazmine
I'm loosing hope
my heart is giving in
my mind is dying off
and its only been 2 days
since seeing you.
im going crazy
my heart hurts
without you
my soul
is in the fiery depths of hell.
it burns in 3rd degree
as I yearn to see you again
it destroys me when we can not contact
it kills me not hearing
your angelic voice
it deprives me
not feeling your love
not having your protection
I feel alone
so alone

Greetings From the Sun
I thrive
Wherever I go
Abundance and generosity
Wherever I shine
When I get up
Even the horizon is at the party
With its sensual and welcoming colours
When I lie down
Every second is a delight
for the one who sees me
Everywhere
The moon would only want me for herself
But I have no choice
I must love everyone
Without getting too close
At the risk of getting burned
That's why we can only embrace very rarely
Fatally destined
To be separated
But together forever

I Say I Don'T Love You Anymore
I say I don't love you anymore,
But I still feel chills in my spine
When your fingers brush against mine.
I say I don't love you anymore,
But I still feel my heart rate rise
When you look deep into my eyes.
I say I don't love you anymore,
But a smile still sneaks through
When I get a text from you.
I know we're done..
I know you're gone.
I know we're just friends now,
But I wish we always stay in touch.
Cause I say I don't love you anymore
But I still stay up all night
Wondering if you're doing alright

The Vibration of Romance
The Earth lowered its eyes and raise its head,
The birds stopped their singing indeed.
The wind gets calm and quiet,
The water turns into bright.
The mur mur sound of the forest get slower,
The Queen bee collecting honey from the flower.
The waves dropped close to the silent river,
The motionless sky started to whisper.
We don't want to forget how to miss,
It can remind us how we did our first kiss.
The surrounding nature started to dancing,
The bells of temple started to ringing.
The stars of the sky are dazzling without fears ,
We can try to make us happier forgetting our tears.

You said you want, you say you treasure.
But it's impetus in your heart and veins,
pompous in that fact, the heat drives fast-
beldams with your cruelish handsomers.
I vividly crawl in your genius,
quest on a very long journey in-
and yet out, though for a timely cut.
An uncouth dream forever trapped out.
And you wished those feelings over again.
Erow.

I Miss You Only If You Miss My Smile
I miss you only if you miss my smile
I desire you only if you like my style
I always do my best and will continue to do so
You enjoy my impromptu speech and tempo
You know that I am opinionated
I express myself freely and overtly like Ed
One of my favorite politicians
Indeed, a masterly eloquent *****sapiens
I say what I have to say fearlessly and candidly
I do care a lot; yes. Yes, I do care immensely
You know exactly what to do now
Don't ask me why, what, who and how
Be very pretty tonight and do the chores
I'll be ready. Don't forget to fix the doors.

I'Ll Miss You
I'll miss you at night,
and even through the day,
I'll miss you when I read a book,
and sometimes when I see a play,
I'll miss you whenever I can't think of what to say,
I'll miss you because you're sweet,
and always full of joy,
I'll miss the way you inspire me to write a funny poem,
I'll miss you when you're gone,
and not here anymore,
Most of all I'll miss you a lot,
and that's what this poem is for

I Miss You
I miss you
Like the planet misses the stars
Like the ground misses the sky
Like the spider misses the fly
Like the drunk misses bars
Like the old man misses cars
Like summer misses rain, such is my subtle pain
Freezing, like winter's breezes
Unpleasant, like certain soft cheeses
Like the boat moored to the dock I am hardened, like a rock
And if only to spend an hour, maybe two
Spinning silly words to you
Then perhaps my heart may twitch
Perhaps those beats will sustain
And for an hour, maybe two,
I can live again.
