Just a Light Summer's Rain

When the sun kisses each drop of rain,
spirited colors warm the heart...
like a wind wisped feather,
landing lightly on the soul.

Romance calls,
from a fresh faint whisper
mingled cleverly among the fallen.

A daydream smiles,
in a seductive voice.

Conjured memories evolve,
from indifference to fact,
plunging deep into fantasy,
erotically eager,
intoxicatingly anxious.

All is euphorically joyful.

I Want Peace

I want a piece of chocolate cake
Oh and a delicious piece of cherry pie
I want a piece of that place called Fort Knox
With all those pieces I could afford a lot

I want a piece of that lady over there
In her haute couture she saunters with such flair
I want a piece of the clouds in the sky
I just want it, don't ask me why!

I want some tiny peace of mind
To have some pieces left to be kind
Then I can give you a piece of Art
A piece I promise comes straight from the heart

The Mythical Fisher Woman - Inspired By Contest

I encountered her on a dark stormy night Her huge trout like lips were a scary sight Strands of white spittle formed on angry lips huge folds of fat spilled over her wobbly hips With scaly grey skin and blood red eyes and legs so fat they chafed her thighs Hair tangled and matted like limp seaweed She reeked like a fish of an ancient breed Reaching out for me with her claw like nails Slime dripped from her hands like rancid snails I tossed her a coin and hurried on my way She’s not been seen since that stormy day 03-28~17

Imagination

I have a wandering mind
my lines as I draw them
over the grid as I steer them
through intersections
I veer them
perspectives I see
when I peer them...
detecting truth
in the dots as I hear them

A gentle Awe
the sound of pause
soft claw.ing sings from my pen
when the lines are drawn
and my mind goes wandering...

About U
Imagination.
My artful perception.

- Ice Cold Champagne -

Do you remember old aunt Julie
In a hurry she opened all the windows
Even in the middle of the winter,
rain or storm
She suddenly needed to have fresh air
Breathed like a whale
The face changed color
Her cheek, ear and throat became deep red
Talked louder than normal
She was a comic figure

We were just young children
did not understand
The years go by ...
we are there ourselves
Hormonal hot flashes
I'm smiling by the old memories
Aunt Julie's advice was;
No estrogen supplements or pills ... but ...
...... Ice cold champagne ......

Monkey See

Monkey See~

There once was a monkey named Frank
Who loved to walk the plank
He said too many jokes
Pulled too many hoaxe-s
Ha! Ha! Ha! Then he got a good spank

*

Who's that monkey in front of me
I dare to hang with you on a tree
Oh! What I do? Will you do?
Together we are like glue
Is that my flea or your flea?

Sandcastle of Dreams

~Sand-Castle~

***relaxing medicine***

dreams of the sand
Underneath the ocean stars
Sleeping with the wind

***the beast dreams***

Mr. Sandman's bag
Romantic, like pouring rain
Seashore bash

***the world is home***

Wishing well mirage
Homeless but rich sandcastle
Ocean wave pillow

***it takes two***

Heaven passionate kiss
 hands create a mote
Drawbridge of sea shells

***hungry wings***

First class bay front seat
Seagulls land on tower
Essence of bird droll

***colliding fantasy***

Adventure hot day
Knocking beauty of the day
fantasy sunrise

The Trainee Boogeyman

This boogeyman was scared of the dark But tried frightening kids in the park When dusk started to fall For his mummy he’d call He'd go dashing home quick as a lark Young children thought it was great fun Seeing the poor boogeyman run They’d leap out from a bush Make him fall on his tush For he didn’t scare anyone So the boogeyman joined in a class His assessments he quickly did pass He leaps from dustbin lids Now he’s scaring the kids This transition he cannot surpass Contest Boogeyman sponsored by Nayda Ivette Negron 05~24~16

Paint the World

Brush in hand,I lay my plan,
Start from the sea, then paint the land,
From the sea I take the blue,
Paint it crystal, you can see right through,
Take the blue and paint the breeze,
Rain-bow for flowers,orange for trees,
Erase the brown from the earth,
Wave my brush,clean cloths,white dirt,
Painted all disasters, brightest red,
Better satellite imagery trying to minimize the dead,
Tone down Mr Sun,a lighter shade of yellow,
Soothing his anger,now he's a jolly fellow,
Pink glows,north,east,south or west,
Lovers staring at the moon, feel the gentleness,
My paint,my brush,my colours sway,
Painting this world, each and every day...

Snowman

Snowman stands in all his splendor
Perfectly made of three snow globes
Proud of his coal eyes and carrot nose
Large colored marbles for mouth and smile
Hardy twigs at his side for arms
Glancing down he’s quite content
He was made anatomically correct
Classically covered by a large fig leaf

B Horror On a Beach Day.

Soon the curious swelled to a mob.
as they gathered to gape at the glob.
Someone prods with a stick.
as another screams: " Quick!"
"We must run for our lives! It's the Blob!"

You live in a fantasy

What a pretty day, sitting watching bees play. My yellow sunflower bends. I am perched up high, friends will go by. Dragon fly and a fairy are friends.

Talking To the Trees

The seasons change with time,
picture mother nature
as a fashion designer
who can't make up her mind.
Talking to the trees:
Ok, everyone, everyone,
fashions for fall.
Green is no longer in,
let's try red.
yellow.
and brown.
Oh, never mind
let everything
fall to the ground.
I know!
Why don't I let you trees go bare?
you’re not bashful,
it’s not like you need underwear.

Bending Spoons

...A poem
is a spoon
that you can bend
with your mind.

It depends on psi
if you
are mutant
X or Y
a paranormal opportunity
or a wild talent
of psionic penmanship .

Stare at the pattern
on the handle
as you imagine
the handle
either roses or unicorns
are emblazon here.

So much the better
as your mind
bends the words
and the metal obeys...

Spoon begins to tremble
there is no knife
to run away with.

Then comes
the period
like an empty plate.
to contain
a bent spoon
with squeezed letters...

Waiter and Waiting

How long will I wait Mr. Waiter?
You only brought me water,
yet I requested for ox-tail soup,
and a bowl of carrots and a tulip.
Mr. Waiter, you are not serving a rat;
I'm by all facial definitions a brown cat.
Sometimes I'm a disciplined vegetarian,
like my rabbit friend, whose Hungarian.
I'm so hungry that I can eat a whole horse;
ask my master who never leaves his house.
For a long time, you've looked at me like a ghost;
you've never seen a talking cat as your guest?
I can see your eyes so surprised with wonder;
wait until you hear the order of one Mr. Panda!

A Lovely Little Daydream

A summer smile stuck on my face,
as I watched a soda truck racing
across the yellow maize farm.
"What is a soda truck doing
in the countryside, far away from
shops and clubs?" my workmate asked.
He looked as though he had witnessed
the Roswell event personally.
"Something isn't right," he added.
I smiled and gazed at the truck,
as it became bigger and bigger.
Monotonous tastelessness of rain water,
would soon be replaced by a fizzy, sweet
sensation to my tastebuds.
This would be the dozenth time I tasted
soda without actually drinking it.

Joy Joy Joy

what ever is going on
in that joyful
little brain of yours

only six years old
and you’re brimming
with imagination
a vivacious fantasy world
in those big bright eyes
and words spewing out
like an overzealous fountain

a bottomless sense
of giddy humor
a full-blown half-pint comedian

Hoover Havoc

There once was a witch in Vancouver
Who traded her broom for a hoover.
She encountered a glitch
When she turned on the switch
'Cause the hoover took off and pursued her.
