Hope

Don't rush to wash off the sea salt
drying on your skin;
the hopes it carries from other oceans,
those remain yet to be seen.

I Miss You

I miss you,
like the sky misses the stars.
like the streets when there are no cars.
like a government that has no laws,
like music, when it is on pause.

I miss you,
like the desert misses the rain
like an addict without cocaine,
like a kiss that misses lips
like actors without their scripts.

Red Light

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
lonely as ever
visible at night, useless by day?

in sync with its partner next door
for a quick kiss over a few flashes only
then arguing again and again
night in, night out.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
not signaling a warning to keep away
but sending a call for compassion?

using the dark pauses in between
to yell the same name
over and over and over
into the emptiness of each night.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
being your silent cry
only heard by your eternal love?

Little Miss Trouble

Little Miss Trouble got in a muddle
Went head first into a muddy puddle
It gave her a fright
And it serves her right
Cos she was always looking for trouble...

Went home in tears to daddy and mommy
And bawled its always happening to me
Dad said " it's the price"
So here's some advice
"Try and be nice in twenty twenty three" ...

Daddy said "your character you must tweak"
Gave it her best shot and lasted a week
Found it all too strange
She just couldn't change
Cos she'll always have an unfriendly streak...

Rainbow

imagine the rainbow being
the dark tunnel
you've been stuck in for years

the lighthouse on the horizon,
the beam
that gets brighter as it nears

get soaked in the rain,
feel the sun in your heart,
let go of all your fears.

My Boredom Disease

Like sick allergies,
Boredom can be passed around
I call it: THE BOREDOM DISEASE

Like a horrid storm,
Boredom can catch you off guard
Hold on for DEAR LIFE!

Like the whooping cough,
Boredom can be serious
If I were you, I’d
Get a vaccination !

4 Love

Love is a four letter word
she whispered into his ear,

So is four, as is word
he whispered back into her fear,

Such is "you and I"
cried his heart - she could hear,

Their cheeks hugged, eyes kissed
each shedding a single tear.

Bawdy, Bawdy, Miss Clawdy

There once was a lass that was bawdy
Suffice just to say she was naughty
When the time came to flirt
She would lift up her skirt
That showed a sign that said $Three Forty

Charlotte Gets Tough With Miss Muffet

Said contrary and crabby Miss Muffet
“Hey eight-legs! Kiss my bare Tuffet!”
From above and beyond, Charlotte dropped a fine line
And bit the old bag where the sun doesn’t shine…

Toonami I Miss You So

Once, something we took for granted
Now gone, forever to be mourned.
My source of awesome anime has been transplanted.
Cartoon Network, you face an enemy scorned!

-----Note-----
Though it's been so long I still miss it. RIP Tom.

Limerick Crochet: Once Swiss Miss Wanted To Make Cake With Cheese

Limerick: Once Miss Swiss wanted to make cake with cheese

Once Miss Swiss wanted to make cake with cheese
So she bought a cow, a dog and some geese.
The dog ate the gander
Geese laid no eggs for her,
So she locked the cow up in the deep freeze.

She called up her cousin in the French Alps
Through melodious yodeling yelps.
French cousine long in bed
Kept boiling her own blood,
So she blew the long mountain horn for help(s).

Her cousine germaine, a stout dairy maid
Answered her urgent melodic raid:
“Put the dog in manger,
Let cow sup in anger!”
Eh presto! Milk turned to holed-cheese sans aid!

Do You Fancy a Lay

Jan and Daz were out strolling one day Daz turned and asked did I fancy a lay I blushed like a schoolgirl and said Daz don’t be so rude! … But I’m feeling quite peckish, I fancy some food Daz started to fumble and to my surprise He pulled out a whopper I gulped at the size Get your teeth into this Jan was all Daz did say For there in his hands was a huge bag of Lay’s! I wrote this back in April. My dearest wish is that one day Darren will be back to add another verse Lay's in not a product we have in the UK 20th June 2015

Love Like a Rose

Love is like a rose
Like the fibonacci frequency
Perfect geometry in all its curved lines

Love is like a rose
Like the shape of the heart
Filled with satisfaction and passion and love

Love is like the sweet smell of the rose
Like a romance that said what is the good smell
When your car needs to be cleaned

Little Miss Muffet - Modern Version

Little Miss Muffet

             (Modern Version)

Little Miss Muffit sat on her tushy
      Eating her curds and whey.
A great big spider sat down beside her
And was killed by a pesticide spray.

(Not really in favour of killing spiders)

Forevermore

When I hear your name
My heart beats faster than usual
It's not that I am ashame
But It's just your name is too special..

Can't control the feelings
When I am with you
Can't stop smiling
When you hold me like you do

When you hug me then
I feel like I'm in heaven
You are a blessing from above
And you are the reason why I loved

I'll promise to love you FOREVERMORE..
And I will cherish you until the end of my borrowed life
And I will keep our precious memories as long as
we see each other in our next life..

It's Not Funny

My Parting Gift.

It’s not Funny

Never leave Life’s bus behind.
It’s full of much that rhymes.

Count only on the adventure.
Even if the need for dentures.

Don’t count on the money honey.
From me it's not funny or coming.

Driving Miss Daisy

Commit to the turn!
Turn, Turn, Turn!!!
I am behind you, see me burn!
If you turn on your blinker
That means your going left or right
The way you drive leaves me in a fright!
Anxious I may be to get on my way
But your driving (or lack there of) is keeping us all at bay
As I take a deep breath and say a prayer for you
I am reminded that I have a grandma too
If you’re old or very young indeed
Here are some instructions for driving day by day
Commit to the turn!
Turn, Turn, Turn!!!

Perhaps We'Ll Discuss Little Bo Peep and Miss Muffet Later -

Old Mother Goose
Frankly speaking was rather loose
The neighborhood was shocked and all in a dander
When she had a brief affair with a well-feathered Gander

When the news reached Jack and Jill
They took that tumble down the hill
Poor Jill lost her drawers and good gracious alive!
Little Jack got a rise in his tattered Levis...

Bar

love walks into a bar
sees hope drinkin' it away;
what's wrong, love asks
nothing's wrong, hope replies,
nothing is wrong...

love turns to fate the bartender
and orders two shots of everything.

Who's That At My Fire

McMar of the South Rode out into the meadow To hide his shadow It was taller there Than McMar had ever been It was darker there McMar rode faster Trying hard to outrun it Riding until dark I think it's gone now I hope it doesn't come back Who's that at my fire? Who's eating my beans? Who's helping me stoke my coals? Who's lying beside me?
