My Pet Tiger

My Pet Tiger

I took my pet tiger to my doctor
Because it had a very bad day.
Now, my tiger’s depression is still there,
But my doctor has gone away.

Red dress and black bra
Two big Macs
One Pepsi to go
On the road we kiss
At the rest stop comes the bliss

Kim shared a room with a tiger
Rajat Kanti Chakrabarty
24th December, 2014

Kim shared a room with a tiger
He was from Niamey of Niger
                                           They sang La Nigérienne
                                             In this hotel Vientiane
And they dreamt the dream of Eiger

My Pet

I have a pet tiger
Do you wanna see,
Hes here in my pocket
I take him everywhere with me.

Hes soft and cuddly
With stripes of black,
I got him from a friend
But, i wont give him back.

I tell him everything
Hes a good friend,
We play all the time
From beginning to end.

Some say im so silly
Hes just a stuffed toy,
But they dont know
How he brings me such joy.

He never acts up
Buckles up when we ride,
He loves to swing
But his favorite is the slide.

After a long day of playing
The sky turns to night,
I go to bed real early
My tiger never outta sight.

As we snuggle together
I fall fast asleep,
By my side forever
My tiger ill always keep

Tiger By the Tail

Sarah started walking my tiger home
after I drank a few and went to roam,
and while she was fuming mad
she called me a jacka** cad...
Damn! She's wrapped my tiger in Styrofoam!!

Chuck Your Manners In the Ocean

Pardon me, Excuse me, I'm sorry
Don't say these words on a safari
       Lions will eat you
       A tiger will too
Real soon you'll look like calamari

For the Love of Cats

…is a cat not the totem of love

your physical contact generates feelings
were the neurons release
the feeling for good vibes
peace, harmony

by stroking soft gentle fur
strong n deep is the purr

serenity brings your heart
to idle
cools your feelings

you relax

you love your cat
the best as you can
but like beautiful rose thorns
can cut like razors
so can the claws of a cat...

love can turn, hurt, bite, flee...

cutting deep!

And just like that your cat is gone
Running
           to somewhere
                         or someplace
                                      to someone else…

And only the echoes of little pads are left!

Rainbow Faerie and Her Tiger

Rainbow faerie brought her guardian to the picnic.
Everyone had been eager to speak with her.
Her guardian was a large tiger.
She was eager to show him off.
He was a beauty, and so tender-hearted and good!

Most elves, brownies and faeries kept their distance.
She complained to her mother about the lack of companionship.
Did you take your tiger with you? Her mother asked.
Oh, no. Do you think that was it?
Her mother said to her father “you are right. Pretty, but….”

Tiger Has Had Enough

he chased down his meal and let it go
it looked too rough, it looked too tough
we don’t do things this way, he was told by so-and-so
he did not care, he had had enough

you don’t own me, he told his bossy gal
I think I shall escape. I shall. I shall.
She laughed at his ways, his smile, his wit.
If I left you, you would have a fit.

Why don’t you try it? Confident tiger said.
She ran away, and there was no dread
In a few minutes he let another meal go.
And he never again listened to so-and-so.

A Tiger No Worse

She reposed in the greenest shadows, her ankles fat
Flexing her well-trained muscles like an enormous cat
We felt ourselves being watched but did not know
It was spring elf woman, until her eyes began to grow

A tiger! A puma! A lion! We were guessing like mad.
If it had been one of them we would have been rather glad.
Spring elf woman has a reputation of being incredibly mean.
So far things were okay, because she has remained quite unseen.
